Frequently asked questions

A clear answer
to your questions.

What most people ask before we work together. Question not covered? Just write to me — honest and without sales pressure.

For solo professionals and small to medium-sized businesses who sense that their workflows are snagging or were never properly defined, and who want to use AI sensibly instead of just talking about it. You do not need to be a tech company — quite the opposite: whether your workflows are already well established or barely structured, impact can be unlocked in both cases.

Every engagement follows the same clear path — the equilane method: in eight steps (E·Q·U·I·L·A·N·E) we take you from understanding to impact. We start with a conversation, make your processes visible, implement improvements and suitable AI tools, and support the roll-out so the change holds in everyday work. More on the "Our method" page.

Every service has a fixed price you know before we start. The Insight is €690 net, the solo lane €3,900 net and solo lane Start €990 net. lane 1 is two days in two modules, an operations upgrade is a project over ten to twelve weeks, and every earlier step feeds into the next. Describe your workflow and you get a fixed price within one working day. Consulting grants may be available for businesses; we check whether a programme fits before the engagement.

No — that is exactly my job. I translate AI into understandable, practical steps and train you and your team so you can work with it confidently — without jargon and without prior knowledge.

No. Technology should support, not replace. The point is to ease repetitive and tedious tasks so your team has time and headspace for what matters. People stay at the centre.

Both. I consult across Europe — on site when proximity matters, and remotely when that is faster and more flexible. We find the format that works best for you together.

The equilane Wirkungscockpit – our impact cockpit – is our working tool for every engagement: process inventory, scoring, target picture, process cards, assistants, measurement – all in one place. You always see where things stand and what's been measured, and work directly on your parts. You get the results as documents – no software for you to maintain.

Module A is credited in full towards lane 1 within 90 days, and Phase I is always credited in full towards lane 2. lane 1 is a result in its own right with its own price. What is built there, namely rules, the register and a trained team, feeds into lane 2 and is not charged twice: the fixed price for the build-out is set after Phase I and accounts for what already exists.

Then Module A is the right start: rules, roles and data classes before the first tool enters the building. Module B pays off as soon as your team is to work with AI in the coming weeks. If you first want to know where time is lost in your business, start with Phase I, which is credited towards lane 2.

No. You decide who takes part in Module A, two people or the whole team. In small businesses one person often wears several hats, and then management and team sit at the table together. Module B is for everyone who uses AI tools or is meant to.

No, that is not what the law says. Art. 4 of the AI Act expects employers to foster AI literacy in the business, and since the Digital Omnibus of July 2026 explicitly without a prescribed level, without a certificate and without mandatory training. lane 1 is one such measure that you can document. Above all it is the day your team learns to work safely. lane 1 is not legal advice: for questions of interpretation, contracts and data protection impact assessments we work with a lawyer and data protection officers.
